Training

Shepherd Home provides training and support for our hands-on volunteers as well as yearly workshops. Attendees see demonstrations of basic skills and also learn and practice with each other. New volunteers also shadow current volunteers to learn more.

Shepherd Home hosts various workshops; recent topics have included a chaplain sharing her hospice experiences with the dying, and a social worker explaining the role of family dynamics in the grieving and dying process.
